The Worst.
Dresses from the 2013 Oscars that I do not ever care to see again. You know who you are and this is the walk of shame.

Anne Hathaway :: Prada
Beat on the street is that she ditched her original Oscar de la Renta dress for this Prada column due to the fact that Amanda Seyfried was wearing something similar to her ODLR. Always go with Mr. de la Renta when it comes to a red carpet event and do not be so caught up in yourself that you cannot be seen near someone else in a gown that is also flowy and pretty. This looks like she stole it from Alicia Silverstone’s Clueless character, Cher Horowitz. At the risk of sounding cliche, this is so 1990s. Over it.

Zoe Saldana :: Alexis Mabille
Where to start? The belt? The explosion of toilet paper attached to the chest? The multi-hued train? This looks like a bad prom dress from years ago. It’s possible this is a bridesmaids dress she pulled from the back of her closet. Others have praised this dress, but I am not drinking the koolaid. Too much going on here.

Amanda Seyfried :: Alexander McQueen
The neckline of this gown was not my favorite by any means. The color is a beautiful soft lilac, but it does nothing for her fair skin and blonde hair. She got lost in this dress.

Jane Fonda :: Versace
I love color just as much as the next girl, but this is too loud for the Oscars. Jane Fonda looks great for her age, but this dress makes it look like she is trying to be Miley Cyrus at the Grammys. Also that center seam is very unflattering and cheap looking. Another prom dress escaped from the 80s.

Salma Hayek :: Alexander McQueen
It is not that I do not like Alexander McQueen gowns, I just do not think this was a good choice for Selma Hayek. She looks better in strapless, dramatic gowns. This is too uptight and Victorian for her. Put this on Jessica Chastain and then we’ll talk.
